Hello and welcome to my pet project!
I have been an ESL/ESOL teacher of writing for many years and, like many of you, I frequently use the web for help with research, lesson planning, and integrating technology in the classroom. Often, my colleagues and I share our latest "web-find" with each other for help in making our classes more productive or effective.
This blog is an opportunity to have many of our favorite resources listed in one place. My hope is that you will feel free to send me your favorite links so that we can build a comprehensive resource base for all of us. You can do so by clicking on "comment" below this post, or send me an email at gailoconnell@hotmail.com. I look forward to your comments, suggestions, and input.
Happy Surfing!

Helping Students Avoid Plagiarism
If your students are doing research or using other sources in their writing, no doubt you have had to deal with plagiarism. In some cultures it is perfectly acceptable to plagiarize and many students do not understand the importance placed on the issue in some schools.
